Silica gel corona roll: dielectric strength is about 400in2/kw. However, it is recommended to use vulcanized silica gel for rollers with large diameters. Silica gel is very economical and can be replaced, but its service life is only about six months.
Epoxy coated corona roll: dielectric strength is about 500in2/kw. The epoxy coated corona roll is more durable than the silicone corona roll, with a service life of about one year. The epoxy resin can be selected for covering. The epoxy value is different according to the temperature and hardness requirements of different working environments. When choosing to use epoxy resin, please be sure to inform us of the temperature and required hardness of the roller when using it. If pinholes appear on the surface of the epoxy resin corona roll, they can be repaired on site.
Ceramic corona roll: dielectric strength is 300in2/kw. The service life is about two years, with high temperature oxidation resistance, heat insulation, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The manufacturing cost of ceramic corona rolls is higher than silica gel corona rolls and epoxy resin corona rolls, but ceramic corona rolls can be used in more extreme working environments.
